Frequently Asked Questions

  • We understand the challenges of scheduling during a busy work week. Therefore, we offer community-based sessions right at your child’s school or daycare, providing added convenience to accommodate your family’s needs. As a Mom I understand trying to balance kid’s schedules, activities, making dinner, or just pure exhaustion after work or school.

  • Frequency and duration of therapy sessions varies based on each client. Generally 30 minute sessions are the most frequently recommended for our younger pediatric clients. Higher level language and literacy-based sessions are generally 45-60 minutes.

  • A referral is not necessary for an evaluation or treatment.

  • Yes, I am happy to discuss further with the preschool program director!

Billing & Insurance

We provide personalized and professional speech and language services without the limitations of traditional medical outpatient and school therapy models. At this time, Busy Bee Speech, LLC does not bill insurance directly for our services.  We believe in upfront billing to avoid surprise costs down the road and are able to set rates that are often lower than pre-set contract rates from insurance companies, depending on your plan.

While we do not bill insurance, your insurance company may still cover some or all of our services via your out-of-network benefits. We are able to provide you with a Superbill which is a form that you can submit to your insurance company to attempt to receive reimbursement of our services.
